CAN Decries Boko Haram attack on churches despite Emergency Rule

In a statement issued by the Christian body in Abuja on Tuesday raised the alarm that despite the state of emergency declared in the North-Eastern part of the country, the attacks on Christians in the part of the country still linger

Boko HaramIn the statement, CAN stated that “on the 3rd of this month, at about 8pm, Boko Haram members attacked Ngoshe village in Gwoza local government area of Borno State and killed 8 Christians, who were identified as Baba Ayuba, Baba Bitrus and Baba Isa Biyabra, the security guard and four others whose names we are yet to get.

11 churches was said to have been burnt, some of which includes Deeper life bible church and Redeemed Christian church of God (RCCG)
