Life has a meaning, but what is the meaning of life, what if finding the meaning of life is the meaning of life….

Have you ever been in a situation where all roads seems to be like a dead end, have you ever lost hope in life like nothing matters anymore. Have you intentionally killed your feeling just so you cannot feel hurt again…There are states in your mind you only unlock with deep thinking which also has its side effects..

I recently open this blog just to get people to view so I can have a sense of the feeling  of existence, I also did trying to beat the competition, but in my quest I took a 7days break from it all just to define my aim and my goals again.. Its been an unpleasant event, when friends turns to foes, when people that ought to have your back pushes you of the cliff, when everything crumbles right before your very eyes…

I FOLLOWED THE CROWD AND REGULAR pattern and I got regular results.

Ask yourself some basic questions like...

Why would people leave Linda ikeji’s blog and turn to yours

What unique thing do you have to offer?

What do you have that would make people wait on your ass for a new release

And lots of questions kept popping in my head

The word definition kept popping in my head and I kept typing it over and over again

I had to define myself... my purpose...

Create a standard … be unique, never give up and put your best in it

If I get 1 view per day, am glad , that there is someone, someplace   that viewed my stuff…

You see success is not measured by the amount of money or wealth you possess, it is measured by achieving set or laid down target or goals

ASUU PROBLEM RESOLVED

The Supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike has disclosed that all contending issues between the Academic Staff Union of Universities and the Federal Government have been resolved.
He made the disclosure in a statement following his meeting with the leadership of the union on Wednesday.
He also lauded the patriotism and strong will demonstrated by members of  the union to uplift the standard of education in the country.
The minister, who had earlier threaten members of the union with sack following their refusal to call off the over five months old strike in the country’s universities, stressed that ASUU want the best for the country.
According to him, “I am very pleased to announce that all contending issues between ASUU and the Federal Government have been resolved to the satisfaction of the parties. Let me emphasize that we recognize and appreciate ASUU’s patriotic role and commitment towards ensuring that our Universities are well-funded, resourced and run like their counterpart in other parts of the world. Thus, we are all partners in progress and there is no victor; no  vanquished in the struggle of this nature for as long as our goals remain noble, not actuated by parochial interests, and targeted at moving our nation forward”.
He also assured that the Jonathan’s administration is serious about revitalizing all universities and will continue to fund them as a matter of priority.

Imagine you see your life flash before your eyes… in a split second its all over

JUST like every other day I go to the office to do one thing or the other, then I drive back home without any form of pain, accident or otherwise. Today would have been a lot different if not for GOD

After my job was done at the office,  a friend of mine that accompanied me asked to drive me. He drives so well, but today was going to be different. On getting to a T-junction, waiting for cars to pass and give room for us, seems like he wasn’t really looking at he other side, while oncoming cars from the left came to a halt so we could come out, my friend (thinking that the coast was clear) came out and turned left, he didn’t see the car for the right side before I could complete my statement (WATCH THAT…CAR) BAM!!! A red salon car coming at 80km/h rammed us… me at the passenger seat got the feeling of it.

Now here’s where God showed us his mercy. If we had come out even half way into the street, I WOULD HAVE BEEN SQUEEZED, I wouldn’t  have not been here to tell this story(GOD FORBID) but we came out just a little and the damage it did to both vehicles was quite appalling. My bumper got phucked up, my fenders got compressed in fact it was a hit. The red salon had similar car hit.. In all I came out healthy with just money leaving my pocket for repairs and nothing more

MY beloved readers, there’s more to life than we think. All we think matters may not really matter. Lets learn to take things easy, there’s no hurry in life, even King Solomon after all his flexing said it ‘Vanity plus vanity all is Vanity

OJB SAYS.. LOTS OF CHEQUES THAT PEOPLE DONATED BOUNED

During a recent interview with HipHop World magazine, OJB said that many cheques given to him towards his kidney transplant, bounced.

    There are well meaning and bitter people in Naija. Most people were just complaining and these people didn’t even donate. All the figures flying in the air then were just fake and make-belief from different angles because if we had the money we wouldn’t have the governor donate N16million.

    Lots of cheques that some people donated bounced. I don’t want to mention names and when we called them to come for their cheques they didn’t come for it. We didn’t want to talk about it in the media because it was about saving a life.

He also talks about his gratitude to his wife for donating her kidney to him, and about the man who gave him N6m to renovate his house, $10,000 for medical expenses and bought him a 2010 Land Rover.

Colo. 6-year-old suspended for kissing a girl

The boy's mother says her son was suspended once before for kissing the same girl, even though she didn't mind. The school says it's sexual harassment.
The boy's mother said officials at Lincoln School of Science and Technology in Canon City, a southern Colorado city of 16,000, are over-reacting. Jennifer Saunders said her son was suspended once before for kissing the girl and had other disciplinary problems, and she was surprised to find out that he would be forced out of school again for several days.

PRESIDENT JONATHAN BEGS ASUU TO CALL OF STRIKE

President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday again urged the Academic Staff Union of Universities to call off its strike action.

The President, who spoke in an address at the opening session of the All Nigerian Judges Conference in Abuja, which was organised by the National Judicial Council, said the industrial action would prevent the country from becoming one of the top 20 economies in the world by 2020.

Three siblings burnt to death

A one and a half year old child with two of his siblings were, weekend  burnt to death in an inferno that engulfed a building and a church in Iba Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos State, leaving property worth millions of Naira destroyed.
Also, two unidentified dredgers got drowned in a 70-feet domestic well in Ojo Local Government, Lagos.
The deceased siblings identified as Imoleayo, Ismaila who is eight years old and Busayo Ganiyu, were said to have been sleeping when the fire started.
The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, but sources said it started at about 9:30p.m., Friday, from the victims’ one-room apartment before spreading to other rooms.

They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual,” Okotie said. He also alleged that Pope Francis is an Anti-Christ who does the job of the devil and that time is fast approaching when the Catholic church will pledge allegiance to Satan. “The pope is an Anti-Christ and the Catholic church will soon declare for Satan. This is the end of times,” Okotie erupted. Similalrly, Okotie also condemned famous preacher and philanthropist, Prophet T.B. Joshua, saying “T.B. Joshua is the son of the devil and his followers will go straight to hell”.

President Jonathan declares three days of national mourning for Mandela

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has declared three days of national mourning for former South African President, Dr. Nelson Mandela who passed away on Thursday


Flags are to be flown at half-mast across Nigeria during the period and President Jonathan urges all Nigerians to unite in solidarity with the brotherly people of South Africa as they mourn the great liberator, freedom fighter and hero of the black race.

The President also calls for special prayers in mosques and churches in Nigeria during the period of mourning which begins today, for the peaceful repose of Dr. Mandela’s soul.

ASUU promises to end strike as FG shifts ground

The hope of a final resolution of the prolonged impasse in the ongoing  strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) was raised Wednesday by the ASUU Chairman, University of Ibadan branch, Dr Segun Ajiboye  when he stated that  the strike would soon come to  end especially as the federal government has begun to  shift grounds.

He did not give details and the extent of ground shifting the federal government had done.

The federal government had earlier given the resume-or-be-sacked ultimatum which should have ended yesterday, but later extended it to December 9.
Some universities have either resumed or announced their resumption dates, even as some others like University of Jos have vowed to continue the strike..

Wonder Woman is finally coming to the big screen.

Israel-born actress Gal Gadot has been cast as Wonder Woman in Warner Bros.' superhero team-up film with Batman and Superman, the studio announced Wednesday. Already starring in the currently untitled film are Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman.

 

Wonder Woman's inclusion in the film brings it closer to a full gathering of DC Comics' Justice League, which also features the Flash, Aquaman and others. Medical Mystery: Student Stops Needing Sleep

Cristina Speirs, 22, was a self-proclaimed "health freak" during her senior year of college, which is all the more reason she would have never guessed that her body would betray her the way it did.

She exercised six times a week, taught hot yoga classes and drank a lot of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. So, when she stopped feeling tired and started getting up more frequently in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, she didn't think anything of it.
"I had a lot of energy," Speirs said. "I wasn't sleeping. ... I was always on the go. I was never tired."



She would eventually learn that she had a tumor the size of an orange on her adrenal gland, and that it was making the hormones that kept her up at night.
Doctors first noticed a problem at Speirs' annual checkup in the fall of 2012 when they found that her potassium levels were low, but her blood pressure was "through the roof."
But they had no idea what was causing the strange symptoms.
"That really freaked me out because them not knowing what's wrong with me -- they're doctors, you know?" Speirs said

Jamie Reynolds, 23, offered to shoot portrait photographs of flame-haired policeman's daughter Georgia Williams while his mother and stepfather were away on holiday.
But the session took an horrific turn when the amateur photographer produced a ligature which he used to throttle Miss Williams, an aspiring model.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole gives the widow he insulted 2Million Naira

Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo on Monday donated two million naira to a widow he allegedly insulted while on an inspection tour of the state.

The widow, Mrs Joy Ifije, who was invited to the Edo Government House by the governor, was also offered automatic employment by Oshiomhole.

Oshiomhole had invited the widow to personally apologise to her over his uncomplimentary remark that had generated controversies in the conventional and social media in the last few weeks.

‘’ Let me apologise to you for the way I spoke to you, I am very sorry about the statement.

“I have also realised that even in anger, one could still achieve the same result that he set out to without provocative outburst.

‘’ I apologise from the bottom of my heart, but sometimes you get angry when people compromise your efforts.’’



Oshiomhole, therefore, appeal to the widow to join in the campaign against road and walkways trading.

The governor said that exposing consumables to unhygienic sanitary conditions could also cause ”disease and pose dangerous health hazards to humans”.

Oshiomhole, who also announced the automatic employment to the widow, said that the employment would help her ease the burden of widowhood and give her children good and proper education.

He further assured the widow that his family would assist the widow’s second child in furthering his education, while also appealing to her to resist the temptation of law breaking.

The widow had earlier apologised to the governor for her action, saying ‘’ I know I was wrong, that was why I quickly knelt down to beg when I realised I was face to face with the Governor’’.

She promised to work with the state government in its campaign against street trading and obstruction.

She also promised to make judicious use of the money donated to her by the governor.

ASUU Strike: APC Slams FG Over Sack Threat, Says Wike Lacks “Ability To Think Outside The Box

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said the sack threat issued against striking university lecturers by the Federal Government means that the present administration is out of ideas in resolving the prolonged strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU

“Wike’s language was crude, his presentation was rude and his threat was demeaning and counter-productive. We believe his lack of finesse and the inability to think out of the box in handling the whole strike issue will not bode well for a quick resolution of the crisis.

APC said it is unfortunate that Wike can be threatening to sack university teachers at a time there is a shortfall of 60,000 lecturers in Nigerian universities, adding that the threat itself has shown that the FG does not understand the enormity of the problems facing public universities in particular and the education sector in general.

Update on paul walker story....Tyrese Gibson breaks down in tears

Paul Walker may not have ever gotten into the car that took him to his death if it hadn't been acting up moments before the crash ... TMZ has learned.

Paul showed up Saturday for a fundraiser at Always Evolving -- Roger Rodas' high end auto shop that specializes in exotic cars. Paul had a stake in the shop.

Sources connected to Roger tell TMZ when Paul arrived ... Roger was watching one of his employees try in vain to back the Carrera GT into the shop, but it kept stalling. Roger decided to take matters into his own hands ... told the worker to get out and took the wheel himself.

As Roger began to back into the garage ... Paul came up and said he hadn't driven in the Porsche yet -- so he jumped in the passenger seat and they took a 20 minute drive.




The fatal accident happened on the way back from that drive -- just 500 yards from the shop.

Paul's best friend from childhood, Nute, grabbed a fire extinguisher and was among the first to arrive on scene. We're told Nute frantically tried to extinguish the flames ... even though it appeared to him both men were already dead.

When the fire dept arrived they tried to pull Nute away, but he was overwrought and punched a firefighter. We're told Sheriff's deputies put Nute -- and several other of Paul and Roger's friends -- in custody, but let them go when they realized the circumstances
